Description

6 cottages (in 2 blocks, Nos 1 and 2 facing Nos 3-6). Early C19. Restored and altered 1971. Red brick in Flemish bond, plain tiled hipped roofs. 2 storeys, Nos 1 and 2 two bays, Nos 3-6 four bays. On right of Nos 1 and 2 and left of Nos 3, 4 and 5 is a 6 glazed panelled door set under segmental brick arch. To left of Nos 1 and 2 and right of Nos 3, 4 and 5 is a 12-pane sash set under segmental brick arch. First floor has similar sashes with attached shutters. No.6 has paired 16-pane sash set under segmental brick arch on ground and first floor. Rear of Nos 3-6 facing Wisborough Road is stuccoed, No.6 projects to road and has entrance on right return behind boundary wall, rectangular bay and on first floor three 12-pane sashes set under cambered arch. Nos 3-5 each on rear have C20 door and porch, 12-pane sash. On first floor each has 12-pane sash with small C20 casement to right.
