Listed Building: UPPER MOUNT (1387239)

Villa, now hotel. 1851. By TE Owen. Stuccoed. Slate roof with rendered stack to left and right. 2 storeys, basement and attic, 3 bays (1 wide, 1 narrow, 1 blinded). At centre is a 2-storey projecting entrance with facing gable; 4 steps approach a 2-leaf 4-panelled door with fanlight set under round arch with arched architrave on console brackets. On left is a 4-pane sash set under flat arch and on right a similar sash set within recessed bay. On first floor a sillband runs across. On left is an 8-pane sash with moulded architrave and a lunette window to attic set within facing gable; at centre is a small round-headed casement. Eaves set on long shaped stucco brackets.
