Listed Building: MARKET HOUSE TAVERN (1333430)

Public house. c1840-50. Stuccoed. Pair Welsh slate hipped roofs, rendered stack to left and right. 3 storeys, 3 bays. At centre is a recessed C20 entrance door within moulded architrave casing. To left and right is a fixed casement with overlight, brown tile panelled apron, paired pilasters at quoins and between door and windows, timber frieze and cornice runs across. First floor has a tripartite window with centre sash and narrow flanking sashes, fluted pilasters divide lights, frieze and cornice. On each side is a 4-pane sash set under flat rendered arch. Second floor has three 16-pane sashes. Return to left similar but 2 bays wide.
