Description
One house, now 2 semi-detached houses. 1856. Red brick in Flemish bond. Steep pitched Welsh slate roof, brick stack to left and right. 2 storeys basement and attic, 3 bays, outer bays project slightly and each has facing gable. Rusticated quoin strips. Paired doors at centre recessed within rusticated stucco surround and cornice. No.14 has 4 panelled round-headed door, upper panels glazed, No.16 has half-glazed door, each approached by 6 stone steps. To left and right a timber canted bay window; No.14 has 2-light centre casement and 1 light flanking casements, No.16 has C20 lights, each with slated pent roof. First floor has 3 2-light casements each set in rusticated surround, left window has attached shutters, attic windows 2-light in rusticated surround, round-arched head with keystone. Left gable has projecting cut bargeboard with pendent. Dormer at centre with 4-pane, 2-light casement, cut bargeboard to gable. INTERIOR not inspected.
