Description

PORTSMOUTH SZ6399 ST THOMAS'S STREET 774-1/12/108 (South East side) 25/09/72 No.50 Coopers House (Formerly Listed as: ST THOMAS'S STREET No.50) GV II House. Late C18/early C19, altered. Stuccoed. Plain tile hipped roof, brick stack at centre. 3 storeys, 1 wide bay. C20 door on right with bracketed pediment type hood. On left, 12-pane sash. Plat band. On first floor, mid C19 tripartite canted oriel window having central 12-pane sash and flanking 6-pane sashes; plain pilaster strips dividing lights; frieze and cornice over. 12-pane sashes on second floor. Coped parapet. INTERIOR not inspected.
