Description
Chest tomb. c1820. Ashlar. Recessed fluted and splayed pilaster at each corner with moulded cap and base set on plinth. Lid capping has incised Greek Key dressing, weathered top slab set back from edge. North long face has projecting panel with inscription "Mr Richard Prince senior died 15th December 1817 aged 70 years. Catherine, Wife of Mr Richard Prince who died 24th March 1826 aged 71 years and 10 days. Excelled by none." Some ivy and vegetation growth to monument.
