Includes: Western Court Nos.1, 2 and 3 QUEEN'S PLACE Southsea. Villa, now house and 3 flats. 1847. By TE Owen. Stuccoed. Welsh slate roof, rendered stack to left and right of 3-storey part. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, front part 2 storeys, 4 bays. At centre of 3-storey part is a 1-storey projecting entrance porch with round-arched opening, moulded band and crenellated parapet; 3 steps approach a recessed 2-leaf 6-panelled door with overlight. Right return to porch has 1 and left return has 3 narrow round-arched fixed casements each with leaded lights and stained glass, diamond pattern to top half. On right of porch within the projecting 2-storey wing is a sash with original attached shutters intact, set under flat arch. On left of porch is a 4-panelled door with overlight and at left a 12-pane sash. First and second floors have string course and moulded sillbands. On first floor is a 12-pane sash on left and far right each under flat arch. To right of porch is a narrow sash. Second floor has three 6-pane sashes, right sash set within facing gable.
