3 houses, No.8 formerly Nine Elms Public House and No.6 formerly Waterloo Inn, now one premise restaurant and bar with flats. Early to mid C19. Stuccoed. Roof concealed. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3 bays. At centre No.6 has recessed 2-leaf 4 panelled door with fanlight set under wide round arch with architrave; to left and to right is a former public house window with fanlight each set under round arch, moulded panel apron. Further left at centre of No.8 is a round-headed window set under wide round arch, panelled apron with to left a recessed 2 panelled door, upper panel glazed, fanlight set under round arch and to right similar round-headed window as No.6. Doors and windows have flanking pilasters. On right of No.6, No.4 has 2-storey canted tripartite bay to ground and first floors, each floor with centre sash and narrow flanking sashes, pilasters divide lights, flanked by chamfer edged pilasters. On first floor No.8 has tripartite window with centre sash and narrow flanking sashes, vermiculated panels over each light, open segmental pediment on console brackets; No.6 has 4-pane sash with cornice and console brackets. On second floor No.4 has sash set under cambered arch, moulded string carried over window and keystone. Coped parapet with scrolled pediment to centre reads 'The Nine Elms'. No.6 has 4-pane sash with eaved architrave, band cornice and coped parapet; No.8 has similar sash, no glazing bars, band cornice and balustrade. INTERIOR not inspected.
