Listed Building: KENT COTTAGE (1387152)

House. 1844. By TE Owen. Stuccoed. Welsh slate roof with low pitch pyramidal roof to east tower block, rendered stack on right of north facing entrance. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3 bays, west wing has 2 storeys and attic. East block with horizontal rustication on ground floor. At centre of north-facing entrance elevation is a 4-panelled door with blinded fanlight set within 2-storey projection with facing gable. 4-pane casement to first floor over door. Projecting west wing with facing gable on right of entrance has 2-light 16-pane casement on first floor in moulded architrave. East tower block has on left 2-light 20-pane casement. First floor has bricked up window opening with moulded sillband course, moulded architrave and frieze and cornice over, panelled apron below. On second floor 2 small 2-light casements with sillband course. Projecting boxed eaves. Left return of tower block facing Queen's Crescent similar to north face except ground floor has 12-pane sash and first floor a 2-light 16-pane casement. Right return of west wing has 2-storey tripartite canted bay window with frieze and coped parapet. INTERIOR not inspected.
