Description
A gradiometer survey was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology at land off Portsdown Hill Road, Portsmouth on the 30th September 2022. The work was commissioned in order to establish whether there were any detectable archaeological features. The survey formed part of a programme of archaeological works in support of the Hampshire Water Transfer and Water Recycling Project.
No abnormalities thought to relate to archaeological remains were identified.
