Event/Activity EPM35 - Deskbased Assessment of Land at Milton Campus, Portsmouth

Deskbased assessment compiled by L-P Archaeology concerning land at the Milton Campus site, Portsmouth. The assessment examined documentary and geological/topographical evidence, and previous work within the area of the site. It was concluded there was a strong possibility for the survival of medieval and post-medieval archaeological remains relating to the buildings of Milton Farm, which documentary and cartographic evidenced placed within the site. There was however, little evidence to suggest any significant Prehistoric, Roman or Anglo-Saxon settlement remains in the vicinity of the site. Accession no: 2004/497
