Description
Exploratory excavations in advance of redevelopment produced a small quantity of sherds in local coarseware of 13th-14th century date. No evidence of Medieval buildings was found, and from the small amount of material recovered it would appear that the area under examination was beyond the perimetre of the Medieval settlement.
