Event/Activity EPM68 - Archaeological watching brief at 1A Trafalgar Place, Fratton, Portsmouth

Watching brief carried out during groundworks for a residential development at 1A Trafalgar Place. Extensive disturbance by former buildings seems to have destroyed any archaeology that may have existed, the relatively slight truncataion of natural deposits across the site suggesting that any archaeology would have been relatively shallow. No archaeological deposits or features were encountered on the site.
