English vessel, Good Intent, bilged and then stranded near Fort Cumberland in 1811.

Data from the National Record of the Historic Environment [1]:

`The GOOD INTENT, Smith, of Lynn, bound to Bristol, got on shore off Fort Cumberland, Portsmouth on Friday, and bilged.' (2)

`The brig VALIANT…and the GOODINTENT, Smith, bound to Bristol, which were driven on shore a short time since near Portsmouth, went to pieces during the late gales.' (4)

Source (3) gives the reported date of loss of 08-OCT-1811, and interprets the port of registration as the departure point.
