Was reported ashore under Fort Cumberland at 10.28am, and in a dangerous position. By 12.20pm on 13-NOV, she was full of water, on the groynes at the mouth of Langstone harbour, badly holed and filling on every tide, cargo washing out. On 15-NOV, a contract had been given to save as much of the cement as possible, and this was discharged onto the beach, but the vessel was a total wreck. (7) Source (2) gives port of registration as Fowey and place of loss as West Winner Shoal, whereas LL. [issue not specified] gives the port of registration and place of loss as Rochester and Fort Cumberland respectively. (7)
