Full Description

A complete human skeleton discovered by workmen digging/constructing the rock gardens, Southsea, in 1928. The skeleton was apparently 'embedded in the earthern humus forming a capping to the gravel' about two feet from the surface. The bones were discoloured, and 'not ancient'. There was a gash in the frontal region of the skull. No associated artefacts were recovered. Exact location unknown.
