Summary
Map
Type and Period (1)
Full Description
The remnants of what was thought to have been a limestone floor were revealed during a watching in 2007. The remains consisted of three flat loosely bonded limestones which had slumped from west to east. The floor probably belonged to a late 17th/early 18th century building which formerly stood on the site. A layer of loamy sand beneath the floor formed a bedding for the stones.
