Full Description

18th and 19th century material recovered during development work in Peacock Lane, old Portsmouth in 1981. The finds comprised early 18th century clay pipe bowls, one 19th century clay pipe bowl, the base from an 18th century thin white ware small bowl, and a range of 18th and 19th century bottles. The museum archaeology daybook states that the finds were collected by the Archaeology Curator.

The coordinates SZ634994 are recorded in the museum daybook, but the exact site is not known. An approximate location has been recorded on the HER map.
