Full Description

Late-19th century domed temple, possibly designed by E F Tew of Bath, from Crichel House, Dorset. The temple was originally situated in the Italian Garden at Crichel House, facing the lake, and was sold to Portsmouth City Council when the owners were redesigning their garden layout in the 1970s. It was re-erected in the garden of Gatcombe House in 1973.
