Full Description
Evidence of medieval occupation was revealed during an excavation to the west of Victoria Road North in 1983. Small pits and post-holes cut into the natural gravel levels, contained stratified fragments of 13th-14th century jugs and cooking pots. These had been made from a local sandy fabric.
