Full Description

Mid-late 19th century plough furrows were revealed during excavations in the gardens to former terraced housing in Froddington/Abingdon Roads in May 1983. Traces of furrows on a north-south alignment ran for a length of 7m through two trial trenches. They had been dug by a machine.
