Full Description
Several shallow depressions were revealed during excavations in Area B during, Northumberland Road, in 1983. The depressions were observed in the lower level of brick-earth, immediately above the surface of the underlying plateau gravel. It is thought they relate to agricultural activity or soil stripping.
