Full Description
Horse trough near St George’s Church. Not statutorily listed because it had been moved but now back in approximately its original position. [1]
There is a plaque on the trough which reads 'PRESENTED TO THE TOWN BY THE COMMITTEE OF THE PORTSMOUTH AND GOSPORT BRANCH OF THE ROYAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS'. [2]
