Full Description
Former Southsea United Reformed Church. Built in 1911. Designed by C. W. Bevis. Brick with stone window surrounds. Tower (formerly with spire). Described by David Lloyd as ‘Arts & Crafts Perpendicular’. Prominent in townscape from several roads. [1] The church closed in 2011, and planning permission was granted to convert the building into seven two-bedroom maisonettes, and one three-bedroom maisonette on four levels. [2]
