Monument MPM1527 - Limestone Walls, Pembroke Path

The remains of four limestone walls revealed during a watching brief in 2010. Two of the walls were on an approximate east-west alignment, the third was aligned north-south and had some brick facings, and the fourth was aligned north-west and cut a gravel layer. It is not known what structures these walls belonged to, or how they relate to each other or a 20th century Drill Hall which was located to the south-west. It is possible that they relate to buildings that were demolished before the 1870 Ordnance Survey map was produced.
