Full Description
Site of former hexagonal reinforced concrete pillbox (with 15 anti-tank cubes). Constructed 1940-41. [1]
The entry on the Defence of Britain Project database gives the coordinates SZ 6550 9803. This would place the pillbox in the Solent. [1] Post-war aerial photographs show a hexagonal structure situated at approximately SZ 6558 9833, c140m west of the fort, and these coordinates have been used for the location on the HER record. [2]
