Full Description
Possible wooden foundation for building. Two sets of sleeper beams, 18" x 16", scarf jointed oak, supported on oak piles joined by tapering horizontal planks. 3 sleeper beams to each set. 2 pieces of copper slag and 1 fragment of crucible from vicinity. Found in the mud flats on the western edge of Portchester Lake, West of Tipner, 12th August 1971.
