Full Description
Former post mill (windmill) in the settlement of Cold Harbour. The mill appears to have been in existence between c1530 and 1768, when it was demolished [1, 2]. It is shown on De Gomme's map of 1668 [3].
The settlement of Cold Harbour was located on the London Road to the north of the original town of Portsmouth (the area now known as Old Portsmouth), and north east of the mill pond.
