Full Description

A brick drain belonging to a Victorian sewer was revealed during a watching brief at Gunwharf Quays in 2004. The drain was approximately 2m below ground and was on a southwest-northeast alignment. The culvert opening was 0.48m wide, and the bricks on either side 0.23m wide. The drain was approximately 0.5m-0.7m high. A 6 inch thick iron pipe ran 0.5m to the south and 0.2m above.
