Full Description
Sewage booster pumping station powered by electric motors, built during the 1930s. Cosham was the largest of three electric powered booster stations in Portsmouth, comprising a total of four buildings. The Engine House has corbelled gable ends with a semi-circular window and keystone. The two remaining stations from this date are located at Ports Creek (see MPM1710) and Tipner (see MPM1711).
