Monument MPM1728 - Freemason's memorial, Kingston Cemetery

Memorial to members of the United Service Lodge of Freemasons No. 1428. The memorial consists of a pink marble Corinthian column surmounted by a sphere, on a large pink marble and smaller stone plinth. The names inscribed on the memorial date to between 1890 and 1918.

The lower stone plinth bears the following inscription:

Erected by the members of the United Service Lodge of Freemasons No
1428, in fraternal memory of their deceased brethren

The upper marble plinth has the following inscription above the names of members and dates of death:

IN MEMORIAM
TO THOSE BRETHREN WHO DIED PRIOR TO 1890
