Summary
Map
Type and Period (2)
Full Description
Post-medieval brick lined well/soakaway observed during a watching brief at 16-17 Queen Street in 2007/8. The well cut the natural ground surface, and had been sealed by a later deposit of made ground (see MPM1774). The brickwork survived to a height of 0.85m. It was not possible to record the full extent of the well or the backfill as it was only visible in section in a foundation trench.
