Full Description

19th century stable building, formerly part of a complex of buildings belonging to Farlington Farm [1]. A building is shown on this site on the 1838 tithe map and award for Farlington, with an extension projecting west at its northern end [2]. This building and several others are collectively recorded as a yard belonging to Samuel Gloyne, the owner of Farlington Farm and Farlington House [2]. The building is marked on the 1870 ordnance survey map, again with an extension at its nothern end [3]. By 1910 the extension had been demolished [4]. The stable is now an outbuilding to 331 Havant Road.
