Full Description
The remnants of a cobbled floor were observed in a service trench on the eastern side of the former Trafalgar Building (south-east of the Mary Rose Museum) during a watching brief in 2009. The floor was made up of granite cobbles set in a loose sandy mortar. The stones were on average 0.25m deep and were varying widths and lengths. The floor had been previously been disturbed by the digging of a manhole.
