Full Description

A 20th century brick feature, probably a cistern, found in a back garden in Uplands Road, Drayton, in August 2017. The top of the cistern was several inches below ground level. The cistern was at least 1.5m deep and at least 1.5m wide and the bricks were in the shape of an inverted cone. It was filled was topsoil. The feature was left in situ and back filled. The house was built in the early-20th century.
