Full Description

Former gamekeeper's lodge to the Great Salterns Estate built in 1882. The building is constructed from red brick with contrasting yellow brick around the windows and flanking the corners. Modern alterations to the building include the addition of two large bay windows to its southern elevation.

A gate controlling access to Tangier Lane, and Great Salterns House beyond, was originally situated close to the lodge.

It is not clear whether the building that currently stands on the site is original, but the buildings plan is the same as shown on the historic ordnance survey maps.
