Full Description
Two pieces of burnt unworked flint and two sherds of prehistoric pottery recovered from a natural deposit during an archaeological evaluation at King Richard School in 2016. The finds were residual and were associated with a piece of modern plastic. The pottery sherds were made of a sparely flint-tempered fabric and were undiagnostic and heavily abraded. The fabric suggested a possible Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age date.
