Full Description
Excavations in 1982 revealed evidence of mid-18th century to late-19th century 'light' plough furrows. The furrows contained sherds of domestic pottery dating to the same period, and were contemporary with the occupation of the nearby Fratton Farm.
The excavations took place in the rear gradens of the former 146-154 Victoria Road North, but the site is refered to as 'Fratton Bridge'.
