Monument MPM221 - Round Barrow, Fort Southwick

Summary

A clump of fir trees which were here in 1759 are believed to have marked the site of a round barrow, because it lies at the boundary of three parishes. The site is now occupied by the parade ground of Fort Southwick. Reference: PHFC XIV 1938.40 p.361
