Full Description
An Acheulian Handaxe in dark-grey/green-grey mottled flint. Some evidence of rolling, 15.5cm long, 9cm wide and 3cm thick. Found on beach at Southsea on eastern side of South Parade Pier in 1978. Axe was donated to the museum in 1983, accession number 1983/121.
