Full Description
GV II Terrace of eleven houses. c1840. Red brick in Flemish bond. No.1 has low pitch slate roof, others concealed, rendered stack to centre of No.1, left of No.2, centre of No.3, then stack between Nos 7 and 8, 8 and 9, 9 and 10 and to right of No.11.
Each house two storeys and basement, one bay, Nos 9 and 11 each have C20 attic. To left of each house Nos 1-6 are three stone steps and to Nos 7-11 four stone steps all with flanking railings approaching six-panelled door with fanlight set under elliptical gauged brick arch with moulded imposts. On right and to first floor each has one eighteen-pane sash set under flat rendered arch, margin glazed basement window and attached railings plain or with scrolled spear heads on dwarf stone wall. Stone capped brick dentil band and stone coped parapet. Nos 9 and 11 each have C20 dormer. INTERIOR not inspected.
