Full Description
The Beneficial School was established by members of the Beneficial Society (founded in 1754) for the education of poor children. The building originally dates to 1784. It was extended in 1836 and restored during the late-20th century. The building was used as a training centre during the c. mid-late 20th century, but is now The Groundlings Theatre (2016).
