Full Description
Former Commissioner's house, now Commander-in-Chief's residence. Built in 1784-6 and designed by Samuel Wyatt. 19th century additions and alterations. [1] The ballroom and main staircase were destroyed when the house was bombed during an air raid on the 17th April 1941. [2]
