Full Description
Former Brougham Road United Methodist Church opened in 1876. The denomination of the church was originally Bible Christian, but changed to United Methodist when the Bible Christian Church in England was amalgamated with other Methodist denominations to form the United Methodist Church in 1907. [1] The Church is recorded in the Kelly's Street Directory for 1951, but by 1953 the address is listed as 'Methodist Church - site of City of Portsmouth College of Art (annex). [2]

Former chapel now an art gallery, yellow brick, slate roof. Formerly the Aspex Gallery. Built 1870/98. [3]
