Description
An internal inspection of the building was carried out by Portsmouth Museum and Record Service during renovation work in 1989. The work revealed that much of the structure of the present dwelling had been built post 1750, and that the rear wall of the house had originally been the front wall of a mid-17th century building, onto which the newer house had been built.
