Event/Activity EPM24 - The Dog and Duck public house, Fratton

An inspection of the property was made on 2nd December 1981 by Portsmouth Museum Service in order to establish the general condition and age of the building. It was not possible to carry out more than a superficial examination of the building, but the structure appeared to be in a sound and watertight condition. Three main phases of construction were identified, the earliest dating to c. 1600.
