Description
A rescue excavation of the garden to the 18th century Lieutenant Governor's House which formerly stood in the High Street Old Portsmouth was carried out by Portsmouth Museum Service prior to re-development work in 1973/4. A number of features dating from the medieval and post-medieval periods were recorded.
