Full Description
A watching brief at the site in 2001 revealed 19th century/modern walls, a recently buried road, and a pit with a mid 19th century/modern fill. Finds comprised fragments of 19th and 20th century pottery, clay pipe dating from the 17th-19th century, fragments of 18th century wine bottle and animal bone of unknown date. The majority of the finds were recovered from the fill of the pit or were unstratified.
