Monument MPM1386 - Pit, The Camber
Summary
Map
Type and Period (1)
Full Description
A feature thought to be a possible pit was recorded during a watching brief at The Camber in 2014. The feature contained brick fragments. The presence of the brick and the known history of the site suggested a 20th century date, most probably the post-Second World War era. However, it is also possible that the feature relates to the redevelopment of the site in the early 20th century.
