Full Description
The remains of a covered way or infantry banquette which connected Eastney Fort East and Eastney Fort West. The beach would have been accessed via a gap/sally port in the centre of the covered way. Part of the bank was removed during the Second World War to enable troops to access landing craft on the beach. Only a small portion of the eastern section survives.
